Travel: Enchanting Camotes Island
My New Year started with an adventure together with friend Emely. I never thought I will be able to break free from the usual New Year culture instilled on us to stay at home and be productive during the first day of the year. Luckily, I think my mom just shrugged and let me go.
The weather didn't quiet agree with our getaway though. The 4-hour banca ride was fun at first but soon it was raining and the waves were getting bigger and fierce. It was honestly scary. We safely reached the shores of Camotes but it was raining the whole 2 days that we were there. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful time. It was a great trip and I will definitely try to visit the island again, hopefully when its all clear and sunny.
