They're beautiful, fashionable and doesn't mind some rain, sun or grass. The perfect models for an impromptu photo shoot.

Tasty Goodness
Here are a few sumptuous goodies and dishes from recent travels and local faves that I just wanted to share. I know I took the longest break from blogging but I didn't stop taking pictures for keeps sake.
Leona's Napoleons
Leona's Red Velvet mini cupcakes
Leona's Lemon Squares
**Leona Cakes and Pastries has got to be one of my favorite bakeries in Cebu City, if not the most fave. They have 3 shops located at Mabolo, Banilad and SM City Cebu.
I could finish up this whole serving of Brocolli at Yang Chow Chinese restaurant in Quezon Ave.
I love this Red Iced Tea at Karate Kid, SM Mall of Asia
It was a buffet lunch at Intercontinental Makati and I went a lil' crazy when I saw this yummy Profiteroles! And no not just on how it looks but because its the same dessert served at Slughorn's dinner party in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince film! Please excuse my shallowness. :)
Blueberry Cheesecake at its finest, still at Intercontinental Makati
Finally! Em and I made it quiet right! Not the perfect and authentic Okonomiyaki but its an improvement from the previous experiments.
Have a grand weekend!

Reminiscing Through the Waves
Mahayahay Beach
Argao, Cebu
It was Father's Day. It was also on this same beach that I had the last memory of him smiling, our last family outing together. I would always be reminded of him whenever I gaze upon the ocean or being on a beach. It was a part of what he is, what we have become and it will always bring back the fondest times that we have spent with him. The sea will forever remind me that he is out there in a better place, reminding me to be patient, to be strong and to have courage...

The Kitchen is Calling
One weekend some time ago, I finally had the time to hang out and play around the kitchen.
Lasagna goodness! And oh I almost forgot, this is my experiment of a Tuna lasagna by the way but still delish...
This ready mix chocolate crinkles has got to be the one easiest to whip up. Just follow the recipe on the box.
Had to remind myself to spoil the crinkles with more confectioners sugar next time. Nevertheless they taste good.
What are you planning to do this weekend?
Dani
