Current Beauty Favorites

This is supposed to be more of the beauty and cosmetics blog but unfortunately, it was just hard to keep up lately. So I hope its not too late to share some of the products that I love using at the moment and for a few months now, some bits of why I'm using them on a daily basis.

Missha Vita BB Cream [Matte]
This is my first Missha BB, and since I am combination oily skin, I opted for the Matte. It's a nice everyday BB, with sufficient SPF, with sheer to medium coverage. As for the oil control? Not enough for me, but that's just how my skin is thus far with the rest of the BB's and primer that I've tried. Got this for Php 375 ($8.5) at Cutie Beauty Shop

Rimmel Lasting Finish Minerals Loose Foundation in Ivory
The first one I got was originally from UK and was given by a friend. And since then I just got hooked. It's the lightest color available but it serves as my bronzing powder, which I really like. Purchased the second jar for Php 150 ($3.4) from Highstreetlady Shop.

Aery Jo Gelly Lip Gloss
This is a Korean Lipgloss with a sheer tangerine color that is just divine. I like how the color appears on me and its pretty long lasting. Unfortunately this was only a sample from a Cosmetic Expo in Seoul last May. I'm gonna be sad when it runs out.

M and Co Lip Gloss in Bougainvillea
I've been wearing this for a long time now and its a beautiful rose color with a bit purplish iridescence. It's a little sticky but long lasting and affordable at Php120 ($2.7) from a M and Co dealer.

Pink Tulip Lip Balm
Another gift item, this time from Japan. I didn't bother with the packaging because it was all in Japanese characters. Obviously I love using this sort of magic lip balm. The only remaining print now that I can identify it with is Pink Tulip. It appears as a clear balm, but on application its a pretty pink color which lasts for hours. Though its not as moisturizing, this is a bit similar with the Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Bloom (Review HERE) but longer lasting and more color.

Nichido Length & Curl Mascara
I was to do makeup for a special event and I needed a mascara, so this was what the SA at Watson's recommended. It's waterproof (remove with oil), gives enough volume and I'm satisfied with the curl result even without a lash curler. Php 199 ($4.5) at Nichido counters.

Favor ladies? If you first knew the online shops Highstreelady and Cutie Beauty from this blog, and happen to visit them, please do let them know.

Thanks! Have a fun weekend!
