Nivea Whitening Inner Cell Repair Body Milk

Nivea Whitening Inner Cell Repair Body Milk

With Berry and Licorice Extracts. With advanced UV protection for Normal Sun exposure.

Strengthening skin from within for fair and beautiful skin.

My Personal Take:

Packaging: Attractive and no fuss container. Smaller sizes are as cute and perfect for travels

Scent: Fragrance is alright, just the usual lotion type smell. Not bad but nothing special either.

Features: I found noticeable results of lightening while using this product. Had enough sun exposure last summer that darkened my arms. I've been using this for 2 months now and I am using this together with a lightening soap as well. The effect may be attributed to both soap and lotion though. Nevertheless, I like the formula's nice texture on application, it gives enough moisture and smoothness on the skin.

Review: Juicy Pop Tube 01 by Etude House

Juicy Pop Tube from the Korean brand Etude House is definitely one juicy gloss that I am loving right now.

Sorry, product info at the back is in korean and I couldn't have anyone translate it at the moment. :)

My Personal Take:

Packaging:  Its slender and cute, there are times though that the stopper in the cap doesn't fit in right away and an amount of the gloss has messed up in the cap already.

Scent: Very slight fruity fragrance, I don't notice it after applying.

Features: It's light on the lips, the color is not that pigmented. No. 01 is the darkest of the 3 Juicy Pop Tubes of Etude House. It gives the right shine either alone or used on top of a lipstick. It lasted for 4 hours on me with occassional drinking and eating.

Availability: Etude House has already conquered Manila and Cebu, not sure in other parts of the country though. It comes in 3 shades, but have to confirm on their numbers.

Value for money: ♥♥♥♥ *Php 128 ($2.8)

Overall Rating: ♥♥♥♥

Got this in time when my Nivea Lip Caregloss and Shine ran out. Though it is not as light as Nivea, it lasts as long and gives the same pretty healthy looking sheen on the lips.

Movie Rave: Dear John (2010)

*photos are snapshots from the movie

Main Characters: John Tyree  - Channing Tatum
                           Savannah Curtis - Amanda Seyfried

Director: Lasse Hallström

Genre: Drama, Romance, War / Nicholas Sparks novel

As for me?
A love story of boy meets girl, fell in love and had to be apart from each other just in a span of two weeks. I'm a little bias on this one as to how I can relate to most parts where they were writing letters. The emotional attachment was overwhelming but as for me, its generally heartbreaking. Having to endure patience to wait, the inspiration to hold on even they were worlds apart, even if their only connection is a letter or 2 a month. Then circumstances happen that made plans fade into uncertainty on what holds for them for another couple of years. It was mostly of dissappointments but I loved the movie. I definitely loved the acting of Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried. I loved the music Paperback and Little House. It tore my heart in a good way with the spark of hope that one day fate will still be fate.

Quaker Chewy Granola Bars

I am a big fan of cereal bars and I was so happy to see Quaker Granola Bars at Robinson's. It has two variants, Chocolate Chip and Low Fat S'mores. Both were delicious and I certainly cannot decide which one is better. Aside from that, its packed with fiber that is essential and beneficial to our diet. Grab one or two today to see and taste for yourself!

Etude House SM Cebu

I have been itching to check out the Etude House in SM City Cebu even before they officially opened. But it is only recently that I finally had the chance to do so. It was good to know that they also have budget friendly products, I thought otherwise. My friend and I grabbed some stuffs and we were able to avail of a free Pink Membership rebate card for a Php 500 purchase. A 2% rebate is given to cardholders for a minimum of  Php 100 single receipt purchase on the same store

Here are the items that we grabbed. I will be sharing my takes on the Black Charcoal Chin Pack and the Juicy Pop Tube soon.  I'm loving the Juicy Pop Tube! Just in time to replace my favorite gloss that is already running out.

'till next time

Travel: Expo 2010 Shanghai 3/3

Another expo that we had to explore is the World Expo happening still in Shanghai. They are hosting this International Exhibition from April 30 - October 31, 2010, in a 5.28 sq. km area. One wasn't enough to see all the sights and all pavilions of so many participating countries but we had a great time. Whoever wants to know more about it may check this site:  http://en.expo2010.cn/.

160 Yuan for a day's tour. Not bad after 2 hours waiting till the gates open!

Israel Pavilion

UAE Pavilion

Korea Pavilion

Dubai Pavilion

Philippines Pavilion showcasing talent performances

China Pavilion

Australia Pavilion

USA Pavilion

Spain Pavilion

Denmark Pavilion

Serbia Pavilion

UK Pavilion

Poland Pavilion

Belarus Pavilion

Inside the joint Africa Pavilion

These aren't even half of the whole area covering the expo, its huge and they said someone has to be there for 7 days in order to see all the Pavilions inside and outside. A lot of people are on queue to get into pavilions and we only got into very few. It was a cloudy day as most photos may suggest, good enough it didn't rain and not that much sunshine too. It was a wonderful experience and the expo isn't over yet, so anyone can still go check the beauty and wonders of Shanghai. Hope you enjoyed my posts!

Exploring the night scene has never been that marvelous. Bright lights everywhere and it isn't even Christmas yet. Trying out their local restaurants and fastfood were overwhelming. In the sense that we find most too much for our stomach to carry. Or we just got full too so easily since the chopstick was making it more tricky for us... :)

Travel: Sunny Cool Shanghai 1/3

Not so long ago, I had an opportunity to visit Shanghai, China for work and what good way to also enjoy the sights. It's a lovely city, the weather was perfect and I sure had a great time. Here are some photos to speak for themselves.
